Oh, hi! My name is Michael Donahoe and I run Tokyo Kawaii Club. I created this business to combine the 2 things I love in life: theme parks and Japan.

Y’see, I’ve always had a fascination with theme parks. And I’ve always wanted to live in Japan. So when I decided I needed a change in my life after living in the Bay Area for over 10 years, the solution was simple: Quit my job at Facebook and move to Japan.

OK, it wasn’t that simple to give up a great job at an amazing company, but a famous genie-turned-bee once gave this sage-like advice: “Just beeee yourself.” And, for me, being myself meant sharing the magic in the country that I love.
